i try to avoid commenting on the photosets i post, but i really need to stress how much i love this film. my favorite of the decade, and one of my favorites of all time. it’s a subtle, beautiful masterpiece of restrained emotion set against landscapes that manage to be both bleak and inspiring simultaneously. features maybe my favorite use of music in any film. it’s finally been released on bluray almost a year after its original theatrical release, so i highly suggest anyone who’s interested seek it out.
